FSN Midwest is a regional cable sports network that operates in all or parts Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Nebraska and Kansas. FSN Midwest began in the late-1980s as Prime Sports Midwest, which then was seen mainly in Indiana, before moving westward in 1994. It changed its name to Fox Sports Midwest on November 1, 1996, then to Fox Sports Net Midwest in 1999, before going with its current name in July 2004. Kanasas City Royals broadcasts will return to FSN Midwest in the Kansas City market beginning in 2008.
