Minneapolis, MN — 31 Oct 2008: The Polaris RANGER RZR continues to be a force by impressively taking the Best in the Desert, WORCS and GNCC racing championships for 2008.

“Polaris Racing is very excited to have three series championships for 2008,” said Eric Nault, race team manager for Polaris. “The side-by-side race teams did an awesome job with their RANGER RZRs, and we’re convinced their dedication will result in many more championships.”

Shreveport, LA — 18 Oct 2008: Lebanon, Tennessee saw its first organized mud bog competition at the Wilson County Fairgrounds. Gooches Powersports of Nashville hosted The High Lifter Pro Series Racing event and invited all the bog teams from across the country to come race. Team High Lifter-Polaris Racing showed up in full force with their ATVs and RUVs for a weekend full of competition and fun.

7 Oct 2008: The Jagged X/Polaris Racing number 1919 team was able to pull off another win at the Bilek Silver State 300, in Mesquite Nevada. Jagged X started in second place with a smaller-than-usual field of only five vehicles.

Spartanburg, SC — 22 Sep 2008: On August 11 Jesse Skvarek took first place at Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, giving him enough points to win the 90 CVT class in the ITP Tires/Moose Racing AMA/ATVA National Championship. In riding to victory at Loretta Lynn Ranch Dirt Days, the Jefferson, Ohio racer reclaimed the crown he first won in 2006.

At age 13, Jesse has two ATVA National Championships in three years – both on board the same KYMCO Mongoose 90 he has relied on for four full racing seasons.

23 Sep 2008: The hot Arizona temperatures and Doug Eichner both soared at Round 7 of the ITP QuadCross Series held Saturday, September 20, 2008. 

The temperatures at Arizona's Speedworld were more than 100 degrees during the day which made for grueling practice sessions. The Main Events, however, were held under the beautiful night sky making a perfect backdrop for Eichner and his impressive Outlaw 525 S. 

The spectator stands were filled as Eichner cleared every challenge Speedworld offered.

NEW BERLIN, NY — 17 Sep 2008: The world's best off-road motorcycle and ATV racers return to Unadilla Valley Sports Center Saturday and Sunday, September 27 and 28 for the Can-Am Unadilla Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) race.

The once-a-year event serves as Round 11 of the 13-stop Can-Am Grand National Cross Country tour, with riders from all over the world set to compete in the Series' ATV and motorcycle classes. Nearly 1,500 competitors are expected to race, with several thousand spectators lining the facility to catch the action.

Minneapolis, MN — 17 Sep 2008: The Factory Polaris/Rath/Dunlop Team headed from Minnesota to another well-known winter haven, Snowshoe Mountain, last weekend to compete in the Round 10 GNCC Cross Country event. This may be a ski resort but last weekend it turned into an ATV Wonderland as the competitors, teams and fans made the way up the mountain for some spectacular views and some amazing racing. With asphalt starts and ski lift viewing it was a beautiful thing!

Brea, CA — 11 Sep 2008: For the last six years, ATV enthusiasts gather at Mapleshade MX in Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania to race in memory of Matt Bartosek, the talented up and coming pro who died in early 2003. The 88 Live to Ride organization, headed by Matt's mother Debi Bartosek, once again put on an successful weekend of racing and raising money for ATV racing safety programs. Romney Suzuki Cycles of Romney, West Virginia, donated a QuadRacer R450 for a top raffle prize. The quad was signed by the entire Rockstar / MSR / Pro Taper / Yoshimura / Suzuki team.

Shreveport, LA — 3 Sep 2008: Shreveport, September 3, 2008 – The Members of Team High Lifter-Polaris Racing were not about to let the threat of hurricane Gustov keep them from racing as they made their way to the ATV Mudfest in Perkinston, Mississippi, just outside of Gulfport, for the Labor Day mud event. In its fifth year of hosting mudbogs, Red Creek Off Road Park had an average attendance of 3,000+ ATV enthusiasts. The event offered three days filled with ATV Barrel Races, Wheelie Contests, High Lifter Pro Series Racing Mud Bog Competitions and excellent ATV trail riding.

Brea, CA — 2 Sep 2008: Team Rockstar / MSR / Pro Taper / Yoshimura / Suzuki finished the 2008 racing season on a high note, with Chad Wienen (#44) capturing a huge win at the Steel City Pro-Only Invitational in Delmont, Pa. Teammate and newly-crowned 2008 ITP Tires/Moose Racing AMA/ATVA National Motocross Champion Dustin Wimmer (#1) took the second step of the podium and veteran Doug Gust (#55) claimed a strong fourth.

Solana Beach, CA — 28 Aug 2008: The Rockstar / MSR / Pro Taper / Yoshimura / Suzuki team enjoyed a highly successful 2008 racing season, with Dustin Wimmer (#191) claiming first place in the ITP/Moose AMA/ATVA National MX Championship series. His teammates Doug Gust (#55) and Chad Wienen (#44) also had reasons to celebrate at the season’s end, with both riders having claimed victories and podium finishes. With speed, consistency, teamwork, and the phenomenal QuadRacer R450, Suzuki handily won the coveted Manufacturers’ Cup, asserting their status as “First on 4 Wheels”.

Minneapolis, MN — 27 Aug 2008: Jagged X and their No. 1919 RANGER RZR repeated history and continued to dominate the Best in the Desert Series by taking their second "Vegas to Reno" win. The team finished the race in 17 hours and 26 minutes, a full hour and 18 minutes faster than the only other finisher. The win is the No. 1919's tenth consecutive Best in the Desert finish.

Valcourt, Quebec — 28 Aug 2008: This Saturday at the AMA Pro ATV Open at Steel City Raceway in Delmont, Pa., both Team Epic Racing / Can-Am^TM and Warnert Racing / Can-Am will race DS 450^TM ATVs with special plastic and graphics for the winner-take-all ATV motocross race. John Natalie and Cody Miller of Warnert Racing will sport red and white plastic with a special graphics package. While fellow Pro-class racers, Jeremy Lawson, Greg Gee and Sage Baker will race Team Epic Racing-prepped DS 450s with black plastic and graphics.

Brea, CA — 11 Aug 2008: Team Rockstar/ MSR / Pro Taper / Yoshimura / Suzuki's Chad Wienen secured the final victory of the final round of the 2008 Moose Racing/ITP Tires AMA/ATVA National Championship series at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

Although Dustin Wimmer clinched the 2008 Championship at the previous round in Red Bud, Michigan, and Suzuki had locked up the coveted Manufacturers' Cup Championship, Wimmer's teammate, Chad Wienen had yet to taste victory this season.
